What the Provider May Ask

Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider picture your floor before anyone visits.

• How big is the garage or room?
• Is the concrete new, old, cracked, or stained?
• Have you noticed damp spots, flaking, or oil marks?
• Is there an old coating on it already?
• Do you want a certain look, such as flecks or a solid color?

Questions to Put to a Provider

You can ask questions too. Good ones are easy to write down before the call.

• What prep will you do, and how long does it take?
• Which coating do you suggest for my floor, and why?
• How long before I can walk on it, and park on it?
• What does the written quote include?
• What happens if a spot peels or bubbles later?
• Are you licensed and insured where required?

A calm, clear answer is a good sign. Vague answers are worth a second look.
